Care Over Cuts was a Medicaid advocacy event organized in Montgomery County by our founder to raise awareness about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and its devastating impact on patients, the broader community, and his own fight for survival.
The event brought together patients, caregivers, and advocates to share their stories and rally for life-saving care. In partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, volunteers and patient speakers joined forces to shed light on how this bill threatens the health and dignity of millions. Together, we stood in solidarity to demand care over cuts- and to remind every patient that they are not alone in this fight

The Isabella Grace Angel Era-Versary was a deeply moving memorial event honoring the life and legacy of Bella Grace, a brave young patient who passed away in 2024 from brain and spinal cancer. At just 18, Bella made the difficult decision to sign her own DNR, a testament to her strength and grace even in the face of unimaginable hardship.
Organized by her loving mother with the support of family and members of the Nashville community, the day was a beautiful celebration of Bellaβs life, spirit, and the countless lives she touched. Our founder attended the event not only to stand in solidarity for Bella, who was his best friend and one of his only friends. but also to support her family in their grief and assist with setting up the space for this unforgettable gathering.
The day was filled with love, tears, and incredible moments of connection. When our founder returned home, he helping produce a 360-degree video documenting the entire event. This gift was created for Bellaβs family so they could forever treasure the celebration of her life, allowing them to revisit the beauty of that day and feel as though they are standing there once again, surrounded by the love that Bella helped inspired.

CARE OVER CUTS: RALLY TO SAVE MEDICAID
It started when our founder held a Medicaid advocacy event in his community. He independently organized it in just nine days to raise awareness about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and its devastating impact on patients, the broader community, and his own fight for survival.
Care Over Cuts was an event that brought together patients, caregivers, and advocates to share their stories and rally for life-saving care. In partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, volunteers and patient speakers joined forces to shed light on how this bill threatens the health and dignity of millions.
It is now our way of advocating for fellow leukemia patients by raising awareness about the challenges they face in accessing care. Through community events, storytelling, and education, we work to spotlight what is happening in the patient community and do everything we can to help improve their care and protect their rights.
